Parenteral nutrition (PN) support for your hospitalised adult patients

Guidelines and expert opinions1–5 provide guidance on adequate nutrition for adult patients who need nutritional support.

The information below is based on general guidance for PN; individual patients may have different requirements based on their clinical condition. PN requires monitoring and doses should be adjusted based on the patient's response.

PN = Parenteral Nutrition; ICU = Intensive Care Unit
